About These Stories & Photos

Most of these stories have little or nothing to do with Private Investigations, but what you might see is an insight into our personality, experience and method of thinking.  The stories are mostly true -- with some creative license and a few name changes.  The only reason we write them is for some "creative outlet" and to "document" some of the more bizarre experiences and cases we work...

The photos below are a mix of personal and work related shots that have some special significance to us.  Again, it may give you a glimpse into how DGA Detectives works and some of our experiences.

The photo to the left is of myself, Dale Gustafson, with President Ronald Regan.  Taken September of 1999 in President Regan's Century City office.

The proud little girl to the right is my daughter Carla.  At age 6, she managed to catch all those fish all by herself (with a little bit of help from Dad).

The woman snagging pumpkins is Joan, my wife.  Smart and quick witted, she is also a Project Manager of Computer Services for Aegon / Transamerica.  A word to the wise, don't tease a woman when she's toting a 30 pound pumpkin.

The agile young lady to the right is my daughter Jennifer.  She's attending UCSD.  At least that she says she is doing when she's not with he boyfriend, swing dancing or enjoying the other recreational advantages that San Diego has to offer.

This is Detective Lisajo McGee.  She is the branch manager of DGA Malibu.  Lisajo is also the past Lt. Governor of Kiwanis District One.  Better known as the Los Angeles District.  This year, like many years now, she also coordinated the Malibu Chili Cook Off.  Apparently I'm not giving her enough work as a detective.

The portly gentleman seated in the middle of the old train station is William "Bill" Valentine.  Bill is a bit of a historical figure in Simi Valley, he is one of the original telegraph operators for the rail road station in Santa Susanna.  Bill is also a recognized authority and one of the most experienced process servers in California.

The latest additions to the DGA Family of Investigators are Jim and Ruby Burns.  Jim and Ruby are the Managers of the Ventura Office.
