Plane Crash Proved To Be Errant Drug Run By DGA Investigator
Pilot and passenger killed in a bad landing near LittlerockIn what was declared an engine failure and accidental crash; Private Investigator Dale Gustafson of DGA Detectives provided information to the FAA and local police that the persons killed in the crash and the six persons who reported the crash were involved in an illegal drug run. "The crash was actually a bad landing by an inexperienced pilot," explains Gustafson. "The six people on the ground and the two in the Cessna all attended the same Reseda high school." The persons on the ground claimed to be in three different groups of two and told the authorities that they didn't know each other. They all gave the same account of the incident claiming they heard the plane engine sputter and then the pilot crashed while trying to make an emergency landing. "The fact is that these eight people were close friends," said Gustafson. "We made that discovery early in the investigation. Eventually we discovered that they were all involved in the illegal importation of Rohipnal and that the plane was trying to land in the desolate area to off-load its illegal cargo." Police have arrested four of the six witnesses and recovered Rohipnal with a street value of about 150,000 dollars. Detective Gustafson was hired by the insurance company that insured the rented plane and its owner. The relatives of the pilot and his passenger had filed a multi-million dollar law suit against the owner. *** |
